Come, Holy Spirit to North Korea

Holy Spirit, the Lord and Giver of Life to all Creation, we praise You and ask for you to pour spiritual life on the people of North Korea. Break down the demonic strongholds of Juche that rules the hearts of the lost in North Korea. Open their hearts to receive Jesus Christ as Lord. In His Name I pray. Amen

Euna Lee and Laura Ling: Prayer Update

The case of Euna Lee and Laura Ling is very strange. Two American Reporters captured on the Chinese-North Korean border and very little from the Mainstream news media. Thank God for the Internet where we can get info. I am not sure why Current TV (the employer of the 2 ladies) is so quiet about the capture of their reporters as well as the US government. Are they thinking that publicizing it will hurt the chances of Lee and Ling being released? I don't know. To be frank, it does not make much sense. I am not a foreign policy expert but North Korea is probably the worst violator of human rights on the planet. Should not this be publicized? If you have not read Eyes of the Tailless Animal: Prison Memoirs of a North Korean Woman by Soon Ok Lee I strongly urge you to read this book. It is a shocking and terrifying look at the North Korean prison system. It is not a book for younger ages for she goes into graphic detail the torture she and others endured.

North Korea like most totalitarian governments is notorious for it's propaganda. The country follows a personality cult type religion.

Lord Jesus Christ, Son of the living God, we pray you to set your passion, cross, and death between your judgment and the souls of the North Korean people. Give mercy and grace to North Korea.

Merciful God, Creator of all the peoples of the earth and lover of souls: Have compassion on all who do not know you as you are revealed in your Son Jesus Christ; let your Gospel be preached with grace and power to those who have not heard it; turn the hearts of those who resist it; and bring home to your fold those who have gone astray; that there may be one flock under one shepherd, Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

O Pyongyang, exalt and rejoice in Jesus Christ!

Let them praise the Name of the Lord!
